Our Day at School
Growth opportunities
Your child will have an opportunity to explore materials in all areas of the classroom with the help of a trained, experienced teacher. The children daily encounter the joy of learning and are given the time necessary to achieve their full potential each and every day.
Circle
We begin and end our day with a circle time, inviting each child to participate in stories, music and poetry. We talk about our day and learn more about our monthly theme.
Activities
Our day includes an activity time when the children experience:
- social and personal growth
- physical development
- art / music / movement
- math / language / sensorial
- science / health
Snack
Snack is offered each day. This is an opportunity for the children to socialize with friends and practice grace and courtesy.
Outdoor Play
Sammamish Learning Center is situated in a natural, park-like setting, with a large grass field and adjoining barn. Gardening and outdoor exploration in our secure play area will also be a part of your child’s daily learning experience.
