Last month, the students all enjoyed playing the drums, so now we will learn about other 'real' instruments like;
 the mandolin, the violin, and the ukulele!  While these are not 'marching band' instruments, we will learn the importance of how instruments working together can sound much different than when the instrument is played alone...like a team of friends working together!  
All the children feel proud that they have 'advanced' to a level of being allowed to play some instruments more challenging than just Wood Blocks.  Therefore,  their level of respect for the instruments has increased too.  Each week, they will have a new instrument allowed to stay in their class room to play as a work on a tray, and as long as they do it respectfully they will be welcome to play it anytime.  Instruments in the classrooms will be; a mini accordion, a drum, and a child sized guitar!
